How big do seahorses get?
Bigger AND smaller than most people think. The largest seahorses, measured from the tip of their tail to the top of their head, can exceed 14 inches. The smallest seahorse - denise is about one centimeter long. On average, seahorses seem to be around four to eight inches long.
